At the edge of a lovely restored hilltop village are located my two houses.
The big house built with natural stones has two ‘cantina’s with vaulted ceilings and a bathroom.
The first floor with his own entrance has a living space with well equiped kitchen, a study and a hall. There is central heating in all the rooms, an airconditioning and wood stove.
Outside is a small cellar, used as storage of wood etc.
The second floor has three 2 persons bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
There is a small attic for storage.
Outside located on the south there are two large terraces of natural stones, one of them is partly covered and there is a pergola, covered with grape vines.
Next to the two terraces is a space with a cave of f natural stones, for this part is a design and license to make a swimming pool.
The cottage has a living room with kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It has high ceilings, airconditioning, central heating and a big fireplace.
Built against it is aconservatory of 50 square meters and has apanoramic view over the hills and is fully inclosed with glass windows and doors that all can be opened.
you can drive your car to both of the house entrances and there is free parking.
The last decade a few foreigners (Dutch, Americans and Scandinavians) bought houses in Ripabottoni. The air is clean, people are very heartwarming and of course the food and wines are perfect.
Not yet mass tourism, a pure and unspoiled beautiful part of Italy.
There are remains of the Samnites and the Romans.
It is about half an hour driving to the clean Adriatic coast and about 90 minutes driving to the Matese mountains, where you can ski in the wintertime.
Ripabottoni itself is beautifully restored with a historic center dating back to the 12th century, there are 2 small supermarkets, a post office, a pharmacy and a shop of anything and everything.
